We are told in Psalm 150:6, "Let everything that has breath give praise to the Lord." What is praise? It is giving glory to God for who He is. When we acknowledge that He is our Savior, our redeemer, healer, the God of hope, truth, and love, it helps us get in His presence. Our heart and soul begin to be joyous and find peace that "passes all understanding." Praise is the greatest form of prayer. Jesus taught us praise by teaching us to say, "Our father who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name." Each day as you read 365 Days of Praise you will reflect upon how much God loves us, how He wants to heal us, and how praise is an important element of that healing.
