Chapter One details the use of self-emulsifying drug delivery systems as a technique for improving drug solubility. Chapter Two describes a proposal for improving the efficiency of solar panels by harvesting heat energy as well as light energy. Chapter Three investigates the efficacy of a sensor composed of carbon nanotubes and other nanomaterials for detecting toxic phenolic compounds in the environment.
