When they returned, it was with long spears in hand.The first of the faeries hit the webs and tangled hopelessly as they discovered, to their horror, just how well the goblin runners did their jobs. Everywhere they turned, the webs closed in, and more fell around them as Shadowspinner Jumpers shot through the trees trailing nets that hung up on leaf and branch and wing equally, closing off any hope of escape. The faeries faltered, trapped, and that was all the archers needed. Arrows flew, and bodies rained out of the trees, some dead, but many wounded and still struggling to escape.
