The survey is conducted throughout Florida from a random sample of recent forestry operations. Both public and private forest lands that meet the selection criteria are eligible for the survey. This Survey fulfills the implementation monitoring element of the Florida Forest Service's responsibility for controlling silviculture related sources of nonpoint pollution.
