Book excerpt: In 1917 the pandemic of the Spanish flu took the lives of nearly 650 000 Americans. Fast forward to mid 1920’s, Greg is a member of the North Bronx gangsters. In the middle of questioning someone from another gang that competes in alcohol shipping. Police come and he gets into a fight. Then police arrest them and take them into custody. They make bail with the request to appear in court. Greg decides to elope to seek help from an old mob boss in Europe. He travels to Sweden, where he is found by the gang leader’s henchman. He finds the leader and is surprised by what he finds. They send him a severance package and tell him to go south or else. He goes to Britain only to get arrested. Which is were he escapes jail for the first time. He then travels to South Africa where he meets more cheetahs. Once they are captured by poachers the chase begins.
