He may ridicule Harvey's hexameters, as much as he pleafes; of which kind of verfes in Englifh, Harvey ifldeed pompoufly announces himfelf as the inventor. But he cannot detraft from the general merit of Harvey both as a poet and a fcholar. His beautiful poem, prefixed to tho Faerie Queene, and figned Hobbinol, befpeaks an elegant and well-tumed mind.
