Mr. Mason was born in Winthrop, MA and was raised in Lynn, MA as a Roman Catholic. He is the oldest of six brothers and was active in organized sports while growing up. After graduating from high school, he left home for Topeka, Kansas to attend college in the Bible Belt of America and eventually transferred to the University of Arizona where he earned a BS/BA degree. Mr. Mason lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife.
