I started to write poetry about fifty years ago when nature presented me with new awakenings to it's beauty and our connection. It started just out of blue and happily hasn't stopped From the coyote that appears on my street to the hummingbird enjoying sap on the tree on the front lawn. They have all inspired me. Everything that presents itself to me is poetry, it's up to me to respond to it.
