Book excerpt: This analysis report documents the results of a program management team and senior acquisition student survey used in conjunction with the acquisition workforce enhanced incentives study. The study was commissioned in response to Section 5001(b) of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act. The survey was designed to help better quantify what rewards are valued by the workforce and to determine the credibility and effectiveness of current performance management practices; communicating goals, measuring performance, rewards, and recognition.
