Subsequent reports have been published annually since that time with the exception of the years-1918 and 1919. Certificates of births, deaths, and stillbirths occurring in 1948 that were filed in 1948 and the first three months of 1949 are included in this report. It is estimated that vital events occur ring in 1948 but reported after the first three months of 1949 will comprise slightly less than two per cent of the total 1948 events.
