Commanders must consider the contents of this document and the particular circumstances in which they find themselves (national military objectives, available forces, threat capabilities, and rules of engagements) when planning maintenance operations. The term 'aircraft' refers to all Army aircraft types (rotary-wing, fixed-wing, and unmanned aircraft systems [UAS]), unless a specific aircraft has been identified in this publication.
