Book excerpt: Dia s Imagination was imagined and written by Pediaiah Pierce. Pediaiah had a hard time sitting still to get her hair combed in the morning for school so her mother, Decembre Pierce, started asking Pediaiah to create a story that teaches children life lessons while she combed her hair. By the time Pediaiah finished her story, her hair was done. Her mother, Ms. Pierce, would then write all Pediaiah s stories in a notebook for later use. Pediaiah wanted to share her stories with other children and asked her big brother PJ, whom she loves dearly, to draw pictures for her book. This book is the first of many more to come from Pediaiah Pierce. We hope you will enjoy Dia s Imagination as much as we have enjoyed sharing it wih you!
