Book excerpt: With the proliferation of internet photos and videos, disclosures from front-line military pilots, astronauts, and, of course, WikiLeaks, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deny that there is an - escalating - extra-terrestrial presence on our planet. Unfortunately, much of the UFO literature available reads more like a manifesto of unreasonable demands directed at the government and scientists to not only release all related classified information immediately, but to explain it. Scientists cannot explain the phenomenon because it defies the laws of science as they know them. In fact, the problem is worse than this: Reported UFO behavior violates not just the laws of science, but also every single basic metaphysical presupposition upon which science is based. Their existence means that our entire scientific "world view" is radically, and fundamentally, incorrect. Because the presently-accepted theory of evolution would seem to be at the root of the problem, the alternative proposed here allows for a multiplicity of dimensions, future-to-past causation, and a new ontology which might explain much of the "occult" behavior attributed to UFOs. This new, updated, edition includes a summary and critique of some of the main attributes and beliefs about UFOs in a wide variety of literature on the subject, dividing it into two camps, the "pro-science" camp, and the "anti-science" camp, and concludes that each exceeds what can be divined from the available evidence. The author conjectures that all of the so-called alien "species" presently observed on earth have arrived here from the same place - a higher, non-parallel, and physically-inaccessible dimension. It is argued that none of them are true, sentient, beings; rather they would seem to be collectively-programmed, remotely-controlled bio-robots engineered by higher-order entities which are physically unable to enter our own dimension, but capable of creating micro-tools to observe it indirectly, and alter it and us in limited ways. They all have the same agenda - to dismantle our nuclear capability - and they will do everything in their power to achieve this end.
