The fourth illustrated short story is a fictional account of young woman named Carol whose romance with a man outside her race had gone awry. These narratives about human foibles are punctuated by beautiful illustrations. All characters in Dorothy Hong's stories are fictional creations and any resemblance to anyone is purely coincidental.
