We live in a world where it is easy to become self-centered in many ways, and some of these ways trickle into the church. With so much going on in our lives, we seek to find help in God, as we should. But have you ever stopped to ask God what you can assist Him with? We know God is almighty. So He doesn't necessarily need our help, but the truth is, He wants us to take part in our relationship with Him. God is in love with us, and the way we show our love for Him is by obeying His word as disciples. This obedience includes responding to His Help Wanted Ad and being available as Soulgivers for the Lost. The Great Commission of Christ, Matthew 28:18-20 says: And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'
