The text also contains a number of homophone stories to provide practice in familiarising students with many of the homophones luring in the English language. These are arranged in order of progressing difficulty, depending on factors of length, number of corrections and subject matter. The stories may be copied for student use and be worked on individually or in pairs. An answer key is included.
