The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned that "taking large doses of this drug is dangerous and can cause serious harm" as the drug is usually prescribed in large doses for large animals. However, a Judge in Ohio, USA has ordered that a man on death's door, suffering from severe Covid 19, can be administered the drug in low doses.
