The present report is therefore designed to furnish some information as to the Alaska mineral industry for the two calendar years 1941 and 1942. In carrying out this plan it is still necessary to omit details as to some of the commodities and to consolidate records of certain of them so that the quantities and sources are not specifically disclosed.
