Book excerpt: In this work, we propose a structure composed of S-shape resonators which shows a negative refractive index in a range of frequencies, between 5 GHz to 9 GHz. We investigate the properties of a finite size structure of S-resonators and discuss its ability for super-resolution imaging. At the end, we conclude that post-processing techniques might be necessary to improve imaging quality of the system.
