She wrote it as a memorial tribute to the innocent victims who lost their lives due to the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York City on September 11th, 2001. Renee wrote the book and song to show her heartfelt sentiments and to capture the feelings and reaction of the nation to the horrific tragedy of that fateful day. It was written to remember all the 9-11 victims and their loved ones,. And to honor not only the courageous heroes of that day, but also every American, for the way we all united as a nation to do everything we possibly could to help the victims and their families of 9-11. Most importantly it was written to fulfill the promise, made by every American on that day, and so it could be echoed down through all future generations that: WE WiLL NEVER FORGET
