Book excerpt: The revolution of Earth is continuous and so is the passage of time. It is this motion that leads to cycles of change. Time can pause but time periods cannot. Manchaha, a Vigyan Aakrami (Scientific Warrior) in the court of His Highness Mal Malecha was sent to space and outlived his stay period in space. As a result, he escaped the cycle of life and returned back after 1000 years to a modern world that galloped on high end technologies and created a breed of psychological hostages. His association with friends that he had cultivated during his space travel was used by his enemy to brand him as the alien wanting to attack this planet. The twists and turns of the plot keeps the reader on the edge. Ancient living has changed to modern technology and ancient thoughts have become sophisticated. What is ancient today was modern of its times. Bridging the 'ancient modern'and thoughts of those times to today's modernity thought processes is a key element of the central character Manchaha who is the intersection between humans versus aliens and technology versus thoughts.
