Book excerpt: The Church is responsible for teaching believers how to use the gospel of Jesus to influence others. This requires church leaders to lead in discipleship methods that produce ongoing spiritual transformation and life changes in themselves and others. This results in a natural, outward expression of the gospel in the local community. For this project, I refer to this process as transformational discipleship. This project is an attempt to catalyze a transformational discipleship movement at Liberty Church. I aim to enable a group of ministry leaders to experience transformational leadership as well as apply it in their discipleship of others.
