The former include Sean MacBride, Pedar O'Donnell, Todd Andrews, General Michael Brennan, Lt Gen M.J. Costello, Colonel Dan Bryan, Sheila Humphreys, Maire Comerford, Liam O'Flaherty, Sean Dowling and close relatives of Sean MacEoin and Ernie O'Malley, whose biographies the author has also written.
